Our Guest Night Program gives interested participants the opportunity to come out to Harmony Hall and participate in our wekly program.  Some of the guests will sit comfortably and observe the evening's agenda unfold.  Others may be familiar with some of the repetoire and can participate with the chorus.  Sheet music with words and music score for those who can read music (not a requirement!) can also be used to help the guest. You may want to listen to the 4 parts of a quartet and identify which part might be most comfortable for you.  Our skilled coaches can tell from your vocal range, which part might be more suitable. Although we would welcome you as an new member, we realize that you may want to take a testdrive first. This is what Guest Night is all about.  Listen and observe from the audience chairs or climb up on the risers (the 3-tiered platforms that the chours sings from) and join in a song

Welcome New Members!

We highly recommend that you visit the Guest Section of our website.  There you will get some additional information about the resources the East York Chapter has at its fingertips.  We can even provide you with a Guest Username and password so that you can access the Member's Section of the website.  There you will find a comprehensive learning facility, equipped with a number tools designed to help our members strive for excellence in vocal production, learn new songs, listen and download learning tracks (full mix of the quartet, lead, tenor, baritone and bass) and last but not least the sheet music.

If you thought you needed to read music to sing the Barbershop style, you were mistaken.  In fact most of our Barbershoppers do not read music at all.  The learning tracks for an important basis to the learning experience.
